Vineyard: Sourced from the vineyards of Carella, Baraggiola Valera and Cavenago.
Orientation: South, southeast. Vineyards are 280-310 meters in elevation.
Soil: Hills formed in the interglacial stage by the Monte Rosa moraine (the second highest mountain in Europe). The soil is very rich in minerals thanks to the considerable crumbling of the rocks due to the age of the moraine.
Viticulture: Counter espalier with Guyot pruning.
Vinification: Grapes were destemmed and then delicately pressed. Fermentation was at a controlled temperature of 30°C. During fermentation repassing was carried out twice a day until the sugar was completely transformed. After this a submerged hat fermentation followed.
Aging: Aged in large oak casks for twenty months.
Production: 30,000 bottles produced.
