Aurora is a fresh, fruit-forward Barbera made for us by Cantina Volpi in Tortona, Piedmont. Cantina Volpi has been a Barbera specialist for over 100 years. The age of their vines average 20-30 years and are planted on south-facing slopes with clay and limestone-rich soil. The winery farms their vineyards organically, adding value to this delicious and elegant wine. Barbera is one of the most versatile, popular and food-friendly grapes in Italy and this example is a total no-brainer!
